The Tatas

Rock · Chile

Garage Punk from Chile. Fast. Loud. DIY. The New OldSchool. The Tatas are a Chilean Garage Punk band formed in 2022, delivering fast, raw and melodic songs fueled by DIY ethics, skate culture and the energy of the underground. Inspired by bands like The Chats, Zeke, Teengenerate, The Ramones and The Spits, they blend the spirit of classic punk with a fresh, modern edge, creating music that’s honest, loud and built for sweaty clubs and high-energy live shows. Their latest single, “Microplastic,” turns one of today’s biggest environmental issues into a relentless Garage Punk anthem, exposing the invisible impact of plastic pollution on our oceans, our cities and even our own bodies. In 2026, The Tatas will take their music to Europe for the first time, touring Spain, France, Switzerland and Germany while strengthening connections with the independent punk scene. From Chile to the world. No nostalgia. Just Garage Punk. The New OldSchool.
